Going to the Duck Pond I learned how important lighting is. There were multiple times where we had to use the reflectors to get better lighting in shady areas . For poses we used the ones on the paper and added more like the tree poses and the standing with hands in the armpits. We used the reflectors for almost all of the photographs. They turned out to work really well to get the right exposure on the Photo. The reflectors depending on which one you used would reflect light. The Gold reflector would reflect warm light and the silver reflector was just regular light more white and less warm. To edit the photographs I used the quick edit in iPhoto as well as did layer mask techniques to get rid of unwanted blemishes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmgyRK6H5wk . Some Photography positions that are available are Freelance Photography and take pictures for people or get hired by magazine companies. The average pay for a portrait photographer is usually around $8 to $10 per hour, but if you are hired by a studio you can get $15 to $18 an hour. A regular Potrait photographer can charge from $50 to $100 for a photo session.

Education may seem boring in the short term, but it is 100% of our future. I believe that collaboration and creativivty are essential to make education available for all, because creativity not shared becomes useless. It becomes a monumental idea contained in a box. That is why the world should be open for education for all to help keep the flow of creativity and colaboration going to the minds of people. A very famous girl by the name of Malala Yousafzai, who has fought for women's right of education in the Middle East, was shot in the face by people that wanted to suppress her. She has stated, "Let us make our future now, and let us make our dreams tomorrow's reality." She has a dream that many of us have, and that is to have education available for all. 1. For the project Alexis and I brought Oatmeal, Fruit, and Granola. The Props we used Coffee Bean, Brown Sugar, Cutting Board, and Bowls.
2. In the food Photography videos I learned how companies use different tools to make the food look nice, they use shampoo as milk, surf wax for frost, motor oil for syrup, and different angles that make food look appetizing. 3. My partner and I tried to mimic the photographer by giving the picture the morning feel with the cutting board, coffee beans, and the measuring spoons. We also mimicked the photographer by interacting with the food by adding ingredients. 4. In the Food Photography I learned the tricks on how they made food look better, how angles are everything to get the right picture, and that motor oil can be used as syrup. Gross. 5. Careers and Businesses that use Food Photography are restaurants and big food companies. 6. In this project I am very happy with how we placed the food and the props that we used. Something I would work on again was the lighting because it took a long time to get the lighting right. |
