David Hockney was born July 9, 1937 in Bradford, England. He is a English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He contributed to the pop art movement of the 1960s, and is also considered one of the most influential English artist of the 20th century. Hockney works in Kensington, London and two homes in California. His style of photography is taking parts of this whole scene and later put them together later on after they are printed. My photograph emulates his art style because it is more than 6 images put together to make another image.
I started of by opening a new photoshop file. After I opened it, I dragged the photos I took from my desktop onto photoshop. I went to Edit>Transform> Scale+ the alt key to keep proportional. Using this I positioned the images until I got them in the right places. Finally, I merged all the layers and saved it to my desktop and the common drive.

I chose Time Magazine because it is a world famous magazine that everyone knows. To emulate this magazine cover I got a red background and put on the title from the internet and picture from the camera. Font style is times new roman and a red that i got from the internet. A strobe light is a light that flashes when the camera takes the picture. The modeling light is a harsh light that has a light diffuser to make the light more even. Soft box is the diffuser that is on the light to even it out. The reflector reflects light it is to lighten up the side of the photo that doesn't have light. A grey card is a card that helps determine the exposure of the photograph. A photo trigger transmit a signal to the strobe light when to flash.
“Brian’s Glamor Shot”
This Photography was taken at The Duck Pond by my school. We were taking photographs for a portrait project in my Photography class. I saw that the light was reflecting just right to get very good back lighting so we set up the gold reflector and took some pictures. The composition rule for this photo is symmetry. I used the Nikon D5300 with a 18-140mm lens to take the photo. I used Photoshop to bring up the brightness, contrast, and color balance. The image is a portrait because it is of a good friend Brian. It was Printed on Epson Glossy Photo Paper on the Epson P800 digital printer. [Chorus:]
They say one door closes another one opens Which one leads to where the hope is I might choose the wrong one I might choose the wrong one This life left me bleeding And I'm free to leave it I might choose the wrong one I might choose the wrong on In Photoshop I used a lot of layer masks and the content aware. I used layer masks by having the scenery cut and used the layer mask to blend it into the door. I used the content aware to Mandalas means so much much to mean. Generally, Mandala means taking an image and making designs out of it. Mandala is made with an image and the mandala template. I use the magic wand tool to grab a part of the image and drag it onto the template. Then you duplicate the layer and rotate it to your liking. After fitting all the pieces together then just adjust the pieces if they are out of place . Then just merge all the layers and save it. I liked how you could take a completely ugly image and make a cool design out of it. The thing I struggled the most with is fitting all the images together. If I were to do it all over again I would take better images.
